About me

My name is Maxim Serikov. I live in Moscow. I specialize in professional photo retouching and color correction. My customer base consists of private clients (professional and amateur photographers) as well as organizations.

I was involved in the processing of corporate travel photographs from around the world for Advance AG employees. Currently I work with the photo studio Babies First Photo (Munich), which specializes in shootings of newborn children and family photography.

My love for working with images began quite early: my father was a mechanic of precision optics at the LOMO factory and at the Kyrgyzfilm studio. From the age of 12, I started photographing airplanes on the airfield near my house and developing the photographs by myself. This is how I fell in love with the streamlined shapes of "iron birds", got into the profession of a military pilot and started to float in the native sky until the collapse of the USSR.

During the subsequent work in the magazine specialized in cars, I was engaged in the layout, photography and retouching of my own digital images. Photography became the passionate hobby of mine, and retouching evolved into my profession.

My work is to help professional photographers and amateurs to focus on creativity while I take over the processing routine.

The vision of the customer as well as his wishes lay in the base of retouching photos. Within this approach, I feel like a "co-pilot” and a full participant in the creative process. I get inspired by the results of our joint efforts!
